Life

It’s the end of the world as we know it…

I admit, I do have a flare for the dramatic (you should see me when I haven’t eaten lunch by 1pm), but it really does feel like our world has changed forever. I’m not entirely nervous about possibly contracting Covid-19, but the anxiety of not knowing what is to come and whether my family is prepared is the real kicker. One way that I am able to combat anxiety is to make lists. I’m that gal that has a daily “to do” list, a long-term “to do” list, and a packing list for trips. Without my packing list, I wouldn’t have brought the flashlight on my honeymoon in Jamaica and we would have been stuck in the dark when the electricity went out (still my greatest packing accomplishment to date!). Anyways, that’s another story for another post…

I was listening to Annie F. Downs’ podcast this week and she mentioned the idea of creating a “Quarantine Bucket List” to help during this time. I thought it was a great idea so I decided to write one. For me, it just gives me a goal or project to do each day. Some of my items are easy and fun, but some of them will certainly take some time and commitment. I am hopeful this will add some normalcy to my day and help me feel like I’m accomplishing something other than keeping two toddlers and a husband alive.

Check out my bucket list and let me know your thoughts! Do you have a Quarantine Bucket List? Tell me what’s on it!

Stay safe and healthy!

Time to start checking this baby off!

  1. I love that you have boys & your list still has Frozen 2 on it ! I think I was more excited to see than Audrey šŸ™‚

Love this idea & miss your face! Stay well my friend šŸ™‚

    1. You better believe that one is already checked off the list! I had to throw some fun “me” things on there. Miss seeing you too! Thankful we have technology to keep us connected.

  2. Ummm Iā€™m doing a bucket list now! What a great idea! The days seem to pass by so quickly and before you know it, we will be back in the rush of everything (hopefully). Love you so much!

    1. Go for it! This has extended quite a bit longer than I originally thought so I keep having to add items to my bucket list.

Let us hear your thoughts!
